There have been several interesting technical posts recently.
Glad to see they are appreciated.
Thanks to Barb and all those that search for info and post.
I would like to know more about neuroimmunophilins.
The ones of interest here are nerve growth hormones
available in pill form (Wowzers!!!).
Another post was about control of differentiation of stem cells in culture
with a proprietary serum free media utilizing growth factors.
The posts on Spheramine was encourageing too (dopamine producing cells
from the retina, on beads)...though stem cells are potentially a better
solution for growth and integration with the brain.
Hopefully, non-fetal sources of stem cells will be available soon.
All these techniques are synergistic and could come together.
