IMHO this woman (who, I imagine, is not a nurse of any kind) should be summarily fired. Her actions were not only totally inappropriate, but may be criminal. Removing a patient who is not of sound mind from an institution without the consent of an attending physician or family member could be construed as kidnapping. Your actions on behalf of your uncle were absolutely correct. The administrator who employs such an individual is putting her institution at risk of being sued.
