I have had at least  3 panic attacks, 2 of which I never figured a reason
out for.  (On 1 I had been bitten in the neck by a black widow spider).  If
breathing is a problem, you can breath into a paperbag and buildup the CO2
in your blood.  If its just the panicked fluttery feeling, a long hot bath
has helped me.
