My mother Joyce (70, striatonigral degeneration) is on Requip, has been since it came out. She has had no marked reaction to it. She started gradually, too, eventually reaching I believe around 15 mg/day. She has things like sleepiness (which I think is due to the REquip) and leg and foot swelling. She has a PD+ disease and her symptoms worsen quickly. I believe the Requip, along with the Artane and SInemet, help to relieve some of the rigidity symptoms. Good luck.
