Try any catalog (or store) that sells medical equipment--there are all
kinds of cushions for wheelchairs  where folks sit for a long time.
For example, the catalog from "MOM's"  (800-232-7443) shows a 5" thick
poluurethane foam cushion that can be used on any chair or in a car (11.99)
as well as one for wheelchairs with a fleece cover (16.99).   This sort of
thing should be generally available.
