Hi all: (A brief history) In June, Sherman, 73/8, returned to our hometown after two years out of state and entered a care facility. A young nurse in the facility has told him that he does not belong in the facility. He should be out living in HER house.> The nurse was fired, but not before she caused my brother more confusion! After my sister and I spoke with the Administrator of the facility, she and her boss spoke with the nurse. The nurse denied taking my brother out. After the meeting she went to my brother and upset him, by blaming my sister and I of causing trouble. She ask Sherman to deny the outing also. Because of the denial, the administrator had to speak to Sherman to verify our story. My brother of course is confused and must have forgot to follow the nurses led, he told the truth about being out and drinking. The nurse was immediately fired. The nurse actions have been so hard on my brother. He is such a passive person and now feels guilty for talking to my sister and I. He feel responsible for the nurse being fired. He has been in a terrible depression and his PD symptoms have become more pronounced since the episode with the nurse. We will just have to wait to see the long term effects of this episode. Chris
