SNIPPED Peter has noticed this sort of thing for some time, and says it is being "emotionally labile". The dictionary says "labile" means changing, and that seems to fit the situation, as one changes emotions easily. For Peter, at least, the tears may seem unrelated to what is going on, what he is watching on TV or reading, or may be a freer response to things, as Hilary suggests. I wonder if Charlie Meyer cares to comment about this ?
