Bob..... My last eye-exam was about 6 months ago, and I specifically asked Kaiser Permanente (my HMO) to to permit me to see an opthomalogist, rather than the usual optromatist. Kaiser came thru like a champ! Even tho this eye-doc turned out to be rather PD-savvy (kind of a surprise, frankly, since most Kaiser physicians I've come across in the 4 years I've been a Kaiser member seem to be "text-book trained" ONLY when it comes to PD) and STILL could only suggest I have prisms put in my glasses (I did, and noticed no difference in the quality of my vision) and to do a simple eye exercise several times a day. With PD-related eye problems, it appears the options to correct the problems are very limited.
