I assumed this is just a medical term for "arch supports". I have an appointment
to be measured next Tuesday, Sept. 7, I'll ask the meaning then and if there is
a significant difference I'll post it here.

I have heard that this type of surgery has a less than desirable rate of
success, that it is pretty painful and that it takes a pretty long time for
recovery. This is just conversation from my friends, but might be worth checking
out. I'd want know this before any kind of surgery..
