Joan In reference to Bob's complaint: I been on Mirapex for approx. 2 years now build up to 1MG 3Xday (total 3Mg) a day along with Sinemet CR Taps 50/200MG, 3Xa day. I don't recognize any off and on periods, probably because of the CR (Slow release formula) But I had swollen ankles a few month ago what progressed now into extreme edema. I been checked out and cleared of any problems associated with the heart by a Cardiologist after numerous tests. I have been inactive lately due to the awaiting of a complete left Hip replacement scheduled for October 28th. My swelling has increase to a point above the knee and both feet and even caused some weeping of liquid, but that has healed up again. My blood pressure was 90/60 at the doctors office. My blood pressure has been a bit on the low sides always or at least since the onset of PD. we send off for and received a book by the title Parkinson's for family's there they mention swelling of the feet, low blood pressure, I read so many ad thins about Mirapex that IM think I should change to some other agonist, will discus it with my Neuro at my next appointment. Jane, keep up the good work I am new to the list subscribed only a couple Month ago, but receive interesting information like about the mutant Gene, Stewardesses suing Airlines, Additives in Jet Fuel.
