Caregiver of the year awards
Allianz Canada is actively searching for five outstanding
non-professional Canadian caregivers. One caregiver in each of four areas
will receive a $1,000.00 award, and one will win the $10,000.00 national
caregiver award.
Do you know anybody who is deserving of the recognition? In 350 words or
less describe the circumstances of both the caregiver and the care
recipient. To be included are the names of the nominator, care recipient and
another person who is familiar with the situation. In order to be able to
verify the claims, the awards committee has to be able to contact them.
An independent committee will judge the nominations in September.
Winners will be announced on November 4.

Nominations of non-professional caregiver you consider exceptional

postmarked no later than Aug. 31-99.
Judy DesRoches, Allianz Canada's, vice-president marketing, said that
her insurance company had created this award last year to help showcase some
of Canada's unsung heroes and heroines.
