Don...I it's a scam....it was on the TV news here in southern California
several months ago.... and a few nights later, the news anchorman warned
everybody that they were getting calls from Vets who called the Veteran'
Administration re the insurance and there was no such program.....my cousin
and neighbor also called the VA and found out it was a scam to get your
personal information along with your social security number and with this
info, the crooks could do all sorts of credit purchases in your name and
you're left with debt and a bad credit rating.  Joan H.
