As a PD sufferer and a man I can tell you that it is quite common for PWP to
dose off in a chair while watching TV - as well as a lot of other people
especially when they start getting a little older (over 40-50). Let him do what
he can as long as he can but if he is significantly disabled he probably should
have someone around or at least available when he is working.

His father's death of course worries you because of its circumstances but it is
comparatively unusual to happen to his son and is unlikely to predict the place
of your husbands death.  Please let him sleep if he wants to in the chair. If
you don't my wife might get ideas that it is dangerous and that would be a
disaster.
