Dear Barbara,
Protein is rarely a problem during early stages of PD, as long as you
take levodopa 30-60 minutes before meals. Re Eldepryl, at amounts of 10
mg/day or less, you shouldn't need to worry about tyramine-containing
foods; however, it's important to drink plenty of water.
