I have been diagnosed with Parkinsons for just a few months...and a turbulent few months it has been. Life goes on...this list has helped me see that...and it will get very "inconvenient" as time goes by. With that in mind, I have had to prioritize and reflect on what I want to do before doing is impossible. So, I have embarked on a project that needs to happen soon. It could be called a hobby, in that it isn't my job and I pursue it evenings and weekends. I have cut down some pine and cottonwood trees on my 20 acre hobby farm and am now in the process of sawmilling into lumber. The pines had to be removed for a septic system, and the cottonwood is dieing (I don't know why). I own a Woodmizer sawmill and have been using it this summer. I keep track of what I've cut on a spreadsheet so I know when I've cut enough of each dimension. Though I am clumsy, I've cautiously done ok. A benefit of all this activity is increased strength and some weight loss. I will dry the lumber and then build a geodesic dome extension to our house. This has been a dream of mine since my college days. I'll give it my best shot. ............................................................................................
