Clare: The last time this happened to me, the email was sent via mindspring.com. I reported it to [log in to unmask] A Mindspring tech promptly investigated it, and sent me an email apologizing and saying they had deleted the offending account. I'm not a subscriber to mindspring, but I was impressed by the swift way they handled this. Sometimes it's almost impossible to trace the real identity of who sent the email though. Since these are mass mailings, the advice to never respond is good.... it does just give them your valid email address and could lead to more objectionable mail. If you are on ICQ, there is a setting to turn off 'express email' to prevent getting unwanted mass messages. And of course, you can block any further messages from the person by specifying 'ignore' to that particular sender. Barbara At 07:42 PM 9/9/99 EDT, you wrote: >Nita, my unwanted mail is porn.
