I believe you are correct in this assessment.  The real question is:
Does fetal tissue (stem cells or other) drive abortion?  If the answer to
that question is or can be made to be no, I believe nobody will argue that
flushing or incinerating the tissue rather than using it in transplants is
the superior moral position.
