Whenever my mom (Joyce, 70) changes doctors, the new one recommends a difference in meds (usually a reduction) even if she's not there for that purpose. The last two times this happened (one recommendation was to reduce Requip, the other to get off Artane completely) she felt worse, returned to the original dose, and felt better.
