I have to jump on the bandwagon with Bruce in saying what a great story is in Oct issue of Popular Science about Jim Finn and his improvements with Parkinson's post surgery. I have e-mailed Science Editor, Dawn Stover <[log in to unmask]> thanking her for using this story about Parkinson's in the Special Issue:The Bioengineered Human. Hopefully the article may be available at www.popsci.com soon. When I last checked the site it still had Sept issue articles. Jeanette Fuhr 48/47/44? ---------- Bruce Anderson said 9/12/99: Popular Science's October issue, in a cover story called, "Body of the Future," devotes 5 full pages [77-81] to his pig fetal cell implant success. Great article! Pretty uplifting and exciting stuff. Includes an interesting excerpt from a diary Jim kept + a real nice photo of him sitting in his TR-7. Also, saw a little blurb in an August issue of Time magazine that Muhammad Ali is suing a former manager for "taking advantage his having Parkinson's." ??? BBA
