In regards to poison ivy, my husband and son are highly allergic to it. Walmart (and I'm sure other drug stores) carry a product called Technu. It has a pre-treatment, a wash and a anti-itch gel. This has worked GREAT!! We have to go out and help Mom & Grandma(PD) out in the country and invariably would end up at the ER for treatment of poison ivy.
