Dear friends,

A question: has anyone asked Senator
Specter, or any other Senator, ( Sen. Harkin is
the Minority Ranking Member) if my printed
Testimony will be mentioned at all, at
the microphone?

Sen Specter's Appropriations tel no: 202-224-7216 (Bettilou Taylor)
Sen. Harkin's Appropriations tel no.: 202-224-7288 (Ellen Murray)

I still do not know if it will be mentioned,
and I have phone calls and e-mail
asking that specific question.

Mr Specter or whoever has the
gavel, and noone else, could do this.

ABOUT MY TESTIMONY:

I am told that it has been included in the packet
that the sub-Committee Members
received, along with that of the 5 attending
witnesses.

I hope that what I said helps. I was asked
by Senator Snowe to give a DESCRIPTION
of the daily tasks and symptpms I have
to cope with every day. It was felt by
the Committee that it would be extremely
unusual and valuable to hear or read such]
a detailed description of PERSONAL medical
details, from a person who actually has PD
(or young-onset PD)
. It is called "Ivan's testimony"
on PIEN.

I stayed up typing and e-mailing and phoning and editing
non-stop since last Friday, including TWO ENTIRE
NIGHTS (Saturday and Sunday) until 4 AM.
What a marathon.

So please forgive me if I am
a little bit "in the dark."

Ivan Suzman
:-)
