THE GOOD NEWS: Due to a successful ad campaign featuring a very considerate celebrity we have a record number of pre-registrants for this year's Walk in Central Park. We are better organized and better prepared this year to host a large crowd. So far, the higher weatherpower is cooperating. THE BAD NEWS: What bad news? Suggestions: If you want to minimize your wait at registration come early. Check-In officially starts at 11:30AM but we will accomodate those who come earlier. Transportation will be provided from the Park entrances on 72nd Street to those whose disability prevents them from walking to the Bandshell. If you want to get together with friends set a time and meet at the Information Booth. If you are looking for a place to relax with friends after the walk, e-mail us for a short list of some local spots. Bring a hat, some sun screen and a good sense of humor.
