Janet, Thank you for your clarifying note. My motive in asking you for it and the way I asked were intended to reinforce the fact that there is no PD Topic because the topic of this list is PD. It was also my intention to reinforce the point that, far from being restricted to 5 headings as Kees suggests, PD can be discussed in its infinite variety by simply not using a TOPIC heading. In addition, in the spirit of your comments that 'none of this is set in stone, we have 23 possible 'paring' methods' I asked that a refinement to one of the TOPICS be considered. Unfortunately my post seems to have been interpreted by at least one person as an attack and nit-picking. Neither of these was my intent, and in retrospect I could have done it differently and better. My apologies if you too saw it this way. However, in the absence of any reaction on your part to either my suggested refinement or the perception that in making it I was splitting hairs, I am going to really lay myself open to charges of all sorts by seeking one more clarification - Do you want, or do you not want, suggestions from the rest of us as to possible TOPICS?
