Reports on adverse effects emerged after the commercial introduction of Tasmar, namely fulminating hepatitis which is often fatal. The commercial use has dwindled quite a bit, but many people still find it to be quite effective. To protect all patients using Tasmar, they are to be checked every fortnight for liver functions.
