Bernard
Actually, in retrospect, singing is probably where i probably demonstrated my
first PD symptoms. I was studying voice quite seriously, when I started
developing "holes" in my voice. For no apparent reason, my throat would go
into spasm, and my voice would disappear for a few notes, leaving what my
teacher called holes in the song. Neither my teacher, nor the throat
specialist she sent me to cold explain. ot. But two yeas later, i started
getting hand tremors .....And mow i'm on sinemet, it never happens any more.
But my voice has no power. It is soft and colourless like my speaking voice.
Singing seems to be a popular occupation among PWPs. I can think fo at leat 3
who are personally known to me. Maybe we should start a choir - call it the Tremelos!
hilary.
