Hi,

Please read my cc's to the list on what I've sent Lott,
et al., on this issue. I have tried to appeal to the
sensibilities on their terms, albeit in an impassioned
way. If you can't find them on the list, let me know and
I'll forward them.

Would you help me get a little excitement going on the
list about this and advocacy in general? It's no good
that a handful of people who are not even these Senator's
constituents write and call and get ignored. I don't want
to offend anyone's sensibilities and start another battle
of opinions on religion, but we should not be sitting
back on our laurels just because MJFox went before all of
2, that's, TWO senators! There's alot of work to do, and
Congress does not hear nearly enough from us.

What do you think?

Suggestion:

I wold like to understand why he is trying to restrict or
delay stem cell research.

It would be good to understand his motives. To what does
he object or fear in stem cell research.

IMHO,we need a constituent (to whom he would have an obligation) to ask for
an explanation.
