And Chris has a good point.  Once pallidotomy has been done, the
anatomy is no longer "virgin" and subsequent surgical procedures
may be quite variable.

Those who have been on this list for a while must remember that I
have not been particularly favorable towards pallidotomy, even
though I was doing them (in my training) back in the sixties!
