Welcome to the group!  I am also 47 and had the same problems with diagnosis.
 I was in physical therapy for a "frozen shoulder" for months, until one day
when it wasn't improving they sent me back to the neuro.  Finally the dreaded
diagnosis, which I think most of us already knew but had avoided.  I am very
interested in your medication.  Does it really help the rigidity?  That is my
main problem as of now along with the tremor which I can still control most
times.  I am taking Mirapex without any luck so far.

This group has been the best thing I have done so far.  I don't often write
(a lurker) but I read almost every one, I especially like Don and Murry's
notes.  As I read all the notes I sometimes cry like a baby because someone
else is having such a hard time, you will be surprised how good it makes you
feel to get all that pent up emotion out.  The list helps in so many ways.
