JAMA is one of the "Big 4" medical science weeklies (others are Lancet, BMJ, NEJM) but I have to say that JAMA, as the mouthpiece of the AMA, devotes most of its space to political and social issues rather than peer-reviewed research, and I seem to be on the opposite side in most cases that come up. The "Archives" of interest to us is Archives of Neurology, which does emphasize scholarly articles, especially very thorough tutorial reviews on relevant subjects, for the benefit of those AMA members who aren't specialists in neurology in general or movement disorders in particular.
