Hi John: As a psychiatric nurse I strongly support
Janet's and Charlie's opinion on this issue. Herbal
'medications' can have the same kind of dangerous
interactions and side-effects that prescribed
medications can have, but lack the testing,
standardization, etc. that meds that go the
conventional route for approval have to undergo.
Besides, since you're not really qualified to practice
medicine, you wouldn't want to start by practicing on
your Mom, would you?     Carole H.
