Tom is out of surgery now and they feel it went well. He respsonded when he was supposed to to the stimulator as they were putting it in and the Dr. feels it is a good sign for a good response when the brain swelling goes down....up to four weeks before that happens and only then will he turn on the stimulator and begin adjustments.
