Sample letter of thanks, and request for more effort to those who have focused on PD: Namely, Sen.Thad Cochran (he's not on the conference committee, but has made a big effort for us), Sen Spector, Sen Harkin, Rep. Porter, and Rep Obey (don't know his record on PD). These last 4 are the leadership of the Senate and House appropriation subcommitte for L/HHS/E, and will be the ones negotiating the Senate and House bills in conference this week. They are the priority. (Obey doesn't have e-mail).
