Johnny Cash In The Hospital
(NASHVILLE) -- Country music legend Johnny Cash is being treated in a
Nashville hospital. The 67-year-old singer is suffering from pneumonia.
Baptist Hospital spokeswoman Lois Bland says Cash is listed in serious
condition. The singer, a fixture on the country music scene for more
than 40 years, suffers from Shy-Drager syndrome, a disease that attacks
the nervous system in much the same way as Parkinson's disease. He has
been in and out of hospitals several times this year.
