Jeanette,,

You betcha a cane can be decorated, as can wooden crutches.

Lisa Greenstadt, the gal who invented and sells the "HurryCane"
(the cane with a flexible wand at the bottom which has been SUCH a
help to those who have "freezing" episodes) <FYI - Lisa can be
reached at (818) 789-9612 or emailed at <and note that there's no
"U: in this email address: [log in to unmask] > I digress....

Lisa has an art student at nearby UCLA painting flowers and other
things on the HurryCanes (an "extra," and I have no idea what the
added embellishment costs)

When I had a badly sprained ankle many years ago, I used my art
background (12 years as a landscape designer and super-graphic
artist), and covered the crutches with colorful art work.

Wanna paint a cane? GO FOR IT!
