Just to let you all know....

I talked to Tom last night and he was feeling great.

He said it is like a "major dental apppointment"!

He said the drill for the skull sounded like a Roto Rooter drill....low and
hard grind.

He said the screwing of the frame to his head was the worse part....but
bearable pain.

He said the rest of it was a cake walk pain wise and long comfort wise. He
had a great deal of anxiety, (which is a side issue not related to PD
entirely) and he was feeling discomfort, of course, being off his meds for
such a long time.

But, he is looking forward to getting the stimulator turned on in the next
2-4 weeks.

He sounded great!

He thanks you for your prayers...he said it made a difference to know that
others were praying for him and that helped during the long hours on the
table and the comfort factor in the "nerve" department while waiting for the
whole thing to start.

I will keep you informed....

Thanks again.
