I received in Thursday, Oct 28, 1999 afternoon mail a three page photocopied letter with the salutation, Dear friend(s) written by Bob. This letter was positive, upbeat and thanked all who have sent notes, cards aand angels to Dawana. The envelope return address was Livingston, TX and also had a tax business name printed but marked out in the return corner. Bob did say Dawana is still very drugged to keep her from feeling the pain of the open wounds and the round of surgeries already done and more in the future including one to repair the damage to her pelvic bone(s). I am sure our prayers, notes, etc are still needed. Does anyone have the address of the hospital Dawana was transferred to and the address where the children(2 young boys) are staying in case someone would like to write them. I'm sure they are worried about their mother and could use some encouraging words. She can't get rid of the infection, and she is having other problems. They have started a hyperbaric chamber treatment program, and hopefully this will help. Janet, still can't see my posts!
