Robert,: I had luck stemming a major case of drooling that followed my 2nd pallidotomy by taking imipramine. Actually, I stumbled onto it, as I began taking it for excessive urination and the drying out properties of the drug did the trick--not totally but it helped a lot. The drug is also known as tofranil and is used primarily as an antidepressant and may or may not address your father''s drooling but I suggest that you ask your father's neuro about it. Good luck.
