Dr. Chris is absolutely right. biSTN is currently about as close as you can get to total elimination of PD symptoms. It is not a cure. The ONLY thing better would be THE cure for PD. E.g. complete symptomatic relief can be achieved with medication for migraine, sleep disturbance, pains etc. Bilateral STN for PD in my experience almost reaches complete symptomatic relief in several of my operated patients (and this is no joke).
