but you missed one important issue
in re the christian bible
in my view anyway

the layers of human interpretation, viz:
which translations? ?greek? ?hebrew? ?aramaic?
which scribes? ?thomas? ?matthew? ?mark? ?stephen mitchell?
which versions? ?king james? ?new english? ?new international?

just doing a little christian-ish mulling
