Hi Marty: Always remember that ONLY you are experiencing
YOUR symptoms/response to a particular medication. You have
to be your own advocate, which is tough in a doctor's
office where YOU are the one sitting on a cold examining
table (sometimes 'dressed' in a silly backless gown.) Two
tips I use (and I am terrified of doctor's offices,
although I am a nurse) is to bring a written list of
questions/suggestions and to bring a family member/friend.
(That way, even though your neuro has the home court
advantage, it's 2 against 1.)
