Paul, Marty, I do want to acknowledge that I'm extremely lucky that I can even consider doing this hike. As for your concern about the press, the Trail is so remote that I doubt that the media will be anywhere near me. In any case, I'd welcome your ideas about how the hike COULD further our cause.
