Leaving out *any* letter would be OK.  As to speaking, one *does*
alter that.  One can use the Hebrew word for "Lord" ("adonai")
properly only when actually praying.  If one is not praying, one must
use a substitute word ("adoshem") which actually means nothing.

Tetragrammoton=The Four Letters  Sometimes spelled as YHWH and
pronounced by some as "Yahweh".
