I am beginning to wonder......
I have been taking sinemet for 17 years now,
The past couple of years, the dyskinesia has been increasing,
but amantadine seems to be keeping that at bay.
The past few months, a new pattern is developing -
as the dysinesia increases in my upper body,
so the tightness increases in my feet,
and begins to creep up my calves, then my knees,
not necessarily equal in both legs.
Is this dystonia, or just a reaction to the upper body dyskinesia?
If the former, does it mean t he sinemet is no longer as effective against it
Or that it has become so exaggerated that the sinemet is no longer enough for
it
(subtle but definite difference)
Or is the prolonged exposure to sinemet causing it?
Does anybody have any answers?
