After mama's second pallidotomy last month most of her symptoms were
alleviated. Unfortunately, the one symptom that hurts her the most has been
only relieved by a small amount. That symptom is a very rigid neck. My
father was reading over the Hole-in-the-Head Gang stories and noticed that
one or two mentioned having a problem with rigidity after their surgeries.
Does anyone have a suggestion of what to do to alleviate her pain?
(Gangsters: what did you do for your rigidity?)

Before surgery:

80 mg Sinemet every two hours (effectiveness was bad, though)

After surgery:

80 mg Sinemet every three hours (effectiveness was good.)

Three days after surgery:

0.025mg Permax twice a day for about two weeks (neck rigidity worsening).
Stopped taking Permax (slight relief in neck but not sure if due to lack of
Permax or just the luck of the draw.)

At present:

70 mg Sinemet every 1.5 hours. (Still trying to find effective amount and
times.)
