HEY!! Desist with the cat calls. I have early onset PD; was dx 2 years ago. I attended a conference where I heard a Burrows Institute physician tell an auditorium full of PWP and professionals that this ongoing squabble of Early Senemet Usage Vs Non-early Senemet Usage is the product (and I'll add the progeny, offspring, child, and an apparent evil child at that) of two of the leading PD researchers and their camps. They present materials at a reoccurring national symposium, presentations just about in alternating years. It appears the two researchers despise each other so much that they, and their camps of followers, seem to spend more time trying to tear down each other's position on Senemet usage than time spent trying to help PWP. Imagine what could be done for US is THEY stopped squabbling. Stop harassing each other here and GO AFTER THE RESEARCHERS to do the work they claim they want to do; find a cure for PD. Just Imagine the benefits We would have if They redirected their energies by Getting Over Their Hate; their jealousy is theft, robbery, it is the Case of the Purloined PD Cure. Go to the sources of this division; tell them "Enough already, Cease the Meowing, get to work on a cure." charlotte wrote: Humor? There should not be the Sinemet school doing battle with the delaying Sinemet school. There is more than one way to skin PD. Please, may we have a less black and white discussion?
