Randy: My claim for SSDI is still churning along. I had two attending physician's statements - neuro (PD) and Gen Practitioner (depression/claustrophobia). SSA called for an Independent Medical Examination for each of the two physician's statements. I went - SSA paid. Along with the SSA response, I am to receive a copy of the IME's report. I am anticipating a response this month. I filed in June. Be sure to call the examiner for your case to ensure that "you" rise to the top of the in-basket on a regular basis. A monthly call at a minimum. BTW, I used an attorney from day one.
