M'dear, Greg might be on to something when he suggested that ya send a small amount of "ernest money" to the city (it IS the city that's going after you, isn't it?) to PROVE your good intentions. You might get away with as little as $10 a month and just keep telling them that it's your intention to pay off the debt just as soon as you can, given your limited income. Just keep pounding away with letting them and maybe city officials plus the press KNOW you're trying SO hard to accommodate the %$#@ city, and ask 'em if they can do the same back to you? Can you file an appeal if they find against you, to buy some time? Ask the City how much would be enough to postpone foreclosure? Maybe you could give them $100 just to show a little good faith and stall them awhile. There must be a way around it somehow. How can they justify foreclosing if you're making an effort to pay what's owed?
