Dennis, you are eloquent as always. but as the Mom of the
Connecticut Parcel Post Pigs, I take umbrage at the
statement that the "pigs have hijacked the humour." If I
remember it correctly, they were practically run out of
town on a rail (although they had their defenders-still
do.) Now I am going to run for cover, to avoid errant
slings and arrows. Just another thought before I go. The
List seems to me to a-buzz with activity lately, so maybe
controversy and the stimulation it generates helps keep it
alive and well.
