I found Marty's posting w/r "Trunkeal Dystonia" quite interesting in that I
experience identical symptoms. I am 60 years old, diagnosed for 11 years and
my meds consist of up to one gram of Sinemet and as much as one milligram of
Mirapex, all administered between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM daily. The effects are
most apparent in the evening as an end-of-dose or "wear-off" symptom, but
can occur during the day either during the initial one hour "wear-on" or
during the transient "wear-off" periods I experience if I inadvertently
overrun a scheduled redose time [a frequent occurrence, I might add].

Marty described the symptoms very well... it's as though an unbearably heavy
weight has been placed on my right shoulder, that eventually succeeds in
pulling me over... frequently to the point of falling out of armless chairs.
It also feels as though the seat I'm sitting on is terribly uneven, i.e.,
much lower on the right side than the left. I have "zero" strength in either
my torso or my right arm to restore myself to a normal upright posture. If
seated at the computer, I frequently find myself very painfully propped up
on my right forearm. As one can imagine, the symptoms are especially
disconcerting if they occur while I'm driving.

My wretched body is resplendent with numerous Sinemet induced dystonias and
dyskinesias, that I've never bothered to classify, but "Trunkeal Dystonia"
certainly seems appropriate for this one. I must admit, I've never heard of
it... but I have a visit scheduled with my neuros this week and I'll query
them about it.

Peace... David
