"The Eldercare Locator is a nationwide directory assistance service
designed to help older persons and caregivers locate local support
resources across the country (USA)...established in 1991, it is a public
service of the Administration on Aging.   SNIPPED

Anyone can call the toll free number, 1-800-677-1116, Monday through
friday, 9am-8pm Eastern Time,
or go to their website :  http://www.aoa.dhhs.gov

You will speak with a trained professional when you call.  Some things you
will need when you call are:
        *name of county and  city, or  zipcode of area you're nearest to
        *brief description of the problem or situation for which you need
assistance
        *questions about fees and services and how they will affect you

This is the first step  to find resources that help older adults and
improve their quality of life. "
